Synopsis

Two Brooklyn teenage prodigies, Sebastian Thomas and CJ Walker, try to outwit fate and role-play as God by building a time machine to save CJ’s brother, Calvin, from being wrongfully killed by the police.

Note: This short film screens on Friday, September 29 at 11:00pm preceding the feature film Kafou.

About the Director

Stefon Bristol is an award-winning filmmaker and recent alumnus of NYU’s Graduate Film Program. While at NYU, Stefon helmed five films including the Cine Golden Eagle Award winner The Bodega. Spike Lee, a longtime mentor, awarded Stefon with the 2016 Spike Lee Production Grant for See You Yesterday, which is also being adapted into a feature film produced by Lee.
